The committee tabled the decision and offered to meet with the applicant, CDC and a couple of committee members in an informal meeting to provide more direction on the design of the sign. The applicant was advised of the code issues as it relates to the height, size, number of pannels and electronic reader board. The committee members asked that the applicant consider a sign that fit in with the character of the neighborhood and the scale of the street. The applicant was also advised that they could go directly to Planning Commission and did not have to come back to the local committee. The applicant wanted to work with the committee to gain their support prior to the attending a Planning Commission meeting. |
